Russian Boars were originally released in 1940’s and 1950’s in the Texas Hill County. Trapped alive and processed under USDA inspection, these boars are wild animals, which explains weight variations. Wild boars are very lean and full flavored, and are nothing to do with domestic pigs. Tenders are great when quickly sautéed or grilled over high heat. |
